Playing
How do I play?
Tap a firework to light it. Each tap uses one match. A rocket fires a spark the way it points; a cracker fires both ways; a star shell fires in all four directions. A spark lights the first firework it reaches, which then fires its own sparks. Light every firework on the board before your matches run out. Use as few matches as the level's target for three stars.
Is every level winnable?
Yes. Every level is built from a solution that fits in the matches it gives you, and this is checked automatically for every level. Hard levels and boss levels are marked on the map before you start.
What do crates, glass and mirrors do?
Crates stop sparks for good. Glass stops one spark and shatters, so the next spark flies straight through. Mirrors turn sparks around the corner.
What are the dotted lines?
They show where each firework's sparks would fly right now. They change as fireworks go off and clear the way.
What do the boosters do?
Hint shows the best firework to light next. Turn turns a rocket or cracker a quarter turn. +1 Match gives you one more match for the level.
Lives
You have up to five lives, and one comes back every 20 minutes. You only lose a life by giving up on a level or leaving it after you've made a move. Leaving before your first move is free. Closing the app in the middle of a level counts as leaving it.
Purchases
I bought something and didn't get it.
Close the game completely and open it again: the App Store sometimes confirms a purchase a little later, and the game picks it up at launch. If it's still missing, write to me with the date of the purchase.
I have a new phone. Can I get my purchases back?
No Ads and the Starter Pack's No Ads come back with Settings → Restore Purchases. Coins, boosters and unlimited lives are used up as you play, so the App Store cannot restore them, and progress is saved only on the device you play on.
Refunds
All payments go through Apple, so refunds do too: visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
Ads
You can choose to watch a short video for free coins, extra matches, a booster, a life, or double rewards. After level 7, an ad may also appear between levels, at most once every three levels won. No Ads (or the Starter Pack) removes the ads between levels; the optional videos stay available because you choose to watch them.
If a video doesn't load, check your connection and try again in a moment.
Privacy
To stop the game sending gameplay statistics and crash reports, switch off Settings → Share gameplay statistics. The full details are in the privacy policy.
