Playing
How do I play?
Tap a bottle to pick it up, then tap another to pour. Liquid only pours onto the same colour, or into an empty vessel. A level is finished when every colour stands alone in its own bottle.
What are the small vials and the big retorts?
A vial holds three, so it can never hold a finished colour — it is somewhere to set liquid aside. A retort holds five: a roomier spare that can still finish a colour.
I'm stuck. Is every level solvable?
Yes. Every board is checked by a solver before you see it. Undo is free and unlimited, and you can restart, add a spare tube, ask for a hint, or drink a potion from your satchel.
What do Hard and Extreme mean?
They mark the levels designed to be tougher than the ones around them. They are labelled before you start, and an easier level always follows an Extreme one.
Progress
Is my progress backed up?
Your progress is saved on your device only. It is not synced between devices and is not restored if you delete the game, so please don't delete it if you want to keep your codex.
I lost my streak.
A streak continues if you claim the daily reward every day. A streak freeze, earned at streak milestones, covers one missed day automatically. Missing two days in a row, or one without a freeze, starts the streak again at day 1.
Purchases
I bought coins but didn't receive them.
Open the game again with an internet connection — purchases that finished while the game was closed are credited at launch. If they still don't arrive, write to me with the date of the purchase.
Can I restore my coins on a new device?
No. Coin packs are consumable: like coins in an arcade, they are used up when spent, and the App Store does not restore them on another device.
I want a refund.
Refunds are handled by Apple, not by me. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Videos
Do I have to watch ads?
Never. There are no ads between levels and no banners. Videos only play when you choose to watch one for a free hint or extra coins.
I watched a video but got nothing.
The reward arrives only when a video plays to the end; closing it early gives nothing. If a video finished and you still got nothing, please write to me.
The video button disappeared.
There are five videos a day. The count resets at midnight. The button is also hidden for a moment when no video is ready yet.
